Fire‘s Season 14 finale (“Thank You”) was a high-octane rollercoaster for the full fleet of first responders as they navigated excitement both in and out of the firehouse. Tasked with being the front-of-the-line recovery team, the entirety of Rescue Squad 3 got trapped inside the building during the explosion. Despite Pascal’s desperate warning, the lives of Kelly Severide, Mouch McHolland (Christian Stolte), Joe Cruz (Joe Miñoso), Tony Ferraris (Anthony Ferraris), and Harold Capp (Randy Flagler) are in jeopardy after the Squad 3 firefighters failed to evacuate in time.

As if it could get worse, Truck 81 also landed in danger after attempting to evacuate the rooftop. Just as Stella overheard the explosion surging from below, she ushered Herrmann, Sal Vasquez (Brandon Larracuente), and Ballard (Leroy S. Williams III) down the ladder, but they didn’t have time to descend before a massive explosion engulfed all of Truck 81.

Pascal and the 51 paramedics were horrified by the frightening scene as Severide could be heard over the radio screaming, “Mayday! Mayday!” The majority of Firehouse 51 are entangled within an untamed inferno, and Chihards are crossing fingers for a successful rescue with so much at risk.
