Shocking news: Coronation Street drops huge clues as to who killed Theo as murder plot deepens
This article contains spoilers for tonight’s (Monday, May 11) Coronation Street, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on YouTube and ITVX.
Coronation Street detectives Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers) and Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) are facing the massive task of finding Theo Silverton’s (James Cartwright) killer, and the ITV soap may have just dropped some clues as to who it was.
Theo ended up being the body in the flashforward episode, and given his recent actions, there are several suspects in the frame.
During his year-long relationship with Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce), Theo subjected him to horrendous abuse, which was ultimately exposed in recent episodes.

In tonight’s episode, Lisa and Kit appeared no closer to solving the crime -which left Todd frustrated.
As they settled into a booth at the Rovers, Lisa and Kit faced hostility from Todd, who insisted that if they hadn’t let Theo go free, then he wouldn’t have been killed.

This came after Kit was approached by Sean Tully (Antony Cotton), who offered his theory that a woman had to be involved in the case.
When Kit mockingly told Lisa that Sean had solved their case, Todd jumped to his defence, pointing out that he seemed to be the only one trying.
Though Kit brushed off Sean’s theory, could he actually be onto something?
Has Corrie just dropped a massive hint to the identity of the killer?
If Sean is correct, then it means that Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby), Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) or Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson) could be the culprit.
However, he also said that he didn’t mean that a woman had necessarily committed the crime, but could have been involved in the coverup.
So far, George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) has faced suspicion from the police, with Christina firmly backing his corner. Could she be covering for him?
Or could Summer be covering for Todd, having already lost father-figure Billy Mayhew? Lisa certainly seemed suspicious of his behaviour in tonight’s scenes…
