General Hospital Just Set Up the Ultimate Cassius Take-Down — and Is Finally Set to Fill In Some Major Plot Holes!
Obrecht is back in Port Charles and her General Hospital return couldn’t have come soon enough! Because since she’s been gone, we’ve learned that Nathan had a secret twin brother, Cassius Faison, who’s taken over his life as he works with the biggest villains in town, Sidwell and Cullum.
And that means that Obrecht had twins she never mentioned before and, presumably, Cesar raised Cassius himself, making him not knowing about Nathan’s existence all the more confusing! In short, we’ve got a lot of questions because this whole storyline has got a ton of plot holes — and Obrecht’s really the only one who can fill them!

Did Obrecht know she had twins? Why did she never mention it before? She gave Nathan away to hide him from Faison, and it seemed to work. But if Faison raised Cassius, why didn’t he recognize Nathan as his son, too?
So far, ‘Nathan’ has fooled even his family (outside of Britt, who knows the truth), but that may be about to change! Because on Friday, Liesl had an uncomfortable conversation about Faison with Felicia, hoping that he wasn’t back, for her children’s sake.
Then she capped off her return with Joss asking Obrecht if it could be possible that Nathan is impersonating his dad. That’s silly! Cassius impersonating him, though…
The point is, this could get Obrecht thinking about her encounters with her son and maybe finally spotting some inconsistencies she never noticed before. We could see her bringing her concerns to Britt, who would try to laugh it off, or advise her mom to just drop it.
But Liesl Obrecht wouldn’t drop it, especially if she was worried about Faison’s return and her children’s safety. Eventually, she’ll confront “Nathan,” and we can see either her explaining to us all how Cassius was born as she realizes, in horror, the truth, or Cassius throwing his own explanation in her face.
Either way, we’re ready and waiting to find out how this happened — and we wouldn’t hate it if Liesl Obrecht, of all people, is the one to expose Cassius for the fraud he is!
