General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) may make a promise to Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) in the moments before his death.

Now that armed Cullum has seemingly backed Marco into a fatal corner, there’ll be no escaping his grim fate. Cullum just closed the door behind him at Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn)

and Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) law office. Viewers caught a glimpse of the knife that Cullum’s holding, so it’s obvious what he plans to do with it.

Marco was foolish to think he could actually get away with swiping Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) medicine.

The moment Marco stole those vials, he put a fatal target on his back.

Cullum may acknowledge that when he prepares to kill Marco, who might protest by pointing out that his father will avenge him.

Marco may realize Cullum’s about to wipe him off the map and warn that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) will retaliate by taking Cullum out next.

Cullum may doubt that, especially if he intends to pin this crime on someone else.

Perhaps Cullum will remind Marco of how badly he wanted revenge on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and promise Marco’s about to get his wish.

Cullum might plan to kill Marco and frame Sonny for multiple reasons.

This will make sure Cullum keeps his hands clean, so he can avoid legal repercussions and point vengeful Sidwell in Sonny’s direction instead.

It’s easy to imagine Cullum taunting Marco a bit as his victim bleeds out.

Cullum might assure Marco that Sonny’s going down for this, so Marco will finally get the payback he’s been craving.

Of course, we should also mention that Sonny recently made a huge change to his legal team.

Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is now handling Sonny’s criminal defense cases, so maybe the writers made that change in preparation for this storyline.

GH spoilers for March 26 point to Sonny turning to Ric for help, so he may indeed have a criminal defense crisis.

Sonny will also push for some answers in the March 27 episode, so he may reel after Cullum plants evidence to set him up.

Bottom line, it sounds like Cullum’s going to use that knife to end Marco and make it seem like Sonny was behind this horrific plot.
