Very Shocking Update: General Hospital Sneak Peek: Obrecht Stuns Nathan & Britt with News Maxie’s Awake
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that a sneak peek video shows Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) stunning Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud)
with the news that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is awake. The week of February 16-20 will kick off with a discussion about Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) since Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)
claims he’s alive and back to cause more chaos. In the February 16 episode, Nathan will give Britt updates on Anna’s kidnapping story.
Britt will find out Anna is now in a mental health clinic, so she’ll have a lot of information to process.
After Britt points out that Faison was obsessed with Anna, Nathan will insist that’s putting it mildly!
Britt will assume Anna’s having a nervous breakdown and will doubt there’s actual proof that Faison is alive.
Nathan will contend that Anna may think she has proof, but she “sure as hell didn’t get it from Faison!”
Before Britt and Nathan can discuss the topic any further, Liesl will come bursting through the door with a huge smile on her face.
Obrecht will be glad to find Nathan since she’ll have “the most joyous news” to share.
GH’s sneak peek video shows Liesl asking if Nathan is sitting down before Britt notes that he clearly isn’t.
Obrecht then proceeds with the shocker anyway and cheerfully declares that Maxie is awake!
Nathan will be thrown for a loop since he wasn’t expecting this info right now at all.
In fact, Nathan was ready to explore a romance with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), but they’ll have to rethink that now that Maxie’s out of her coma.
Britt will also be taken aback over this curveball that Liesl’s about to deliver.
Maxie doesn’t know that Britt has rejoined the land of the living, so Britt will realize there’s another awkward reunion ahead.
As for Nathan, he’ll no doubt get nervous about his own reunion with Maxie.
Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) just told Maxie that Nathan is alive, but Maxie obviously doesn’t believe it yet based on her confused facial expression.
Although Felicia will work to convince Maxie, the real test will be when Maxie sees Nathan for herself.
Nathan’s DNA and fingerprints matched up when he first got back to town, but Maxie may want to look him in the eyes and decide whether he’s legit.
Of course, there have been some big hints to suggest that Nathan may not be exactly the man he claims to be.
Will Maxie pick up on weird vibes or be so glad to have Nathan back that she misses any red flags?
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Maxie’s wake-up call will definitely affect Nathan’s storyline moving forward
