General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, November 7, reveals that it’ll be PC’s make-or-break-it night while Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) reports to Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna)

and Ava Jerome (Maura West) intrigues Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Since it’ll be election night in Port Charles, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will open up to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening)

about her growing fears. The results could determine the future of PC and whether Sidwell gets a dangerous foothold. It looks like Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)

and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will worry about the same thing across town. Jason will even suggest that perhaps they should “take the shot” while they still can.

If things go Sidwell’s way on this Measure C vote, Sonny could lose his piers.

Sidwell could score the upper hand and essentially become the new king of Port Charles, so Jason may think they should consider drastic action to prevent that.

Unfortunately, Laura’s mayoral campaign is about to take a serious hit.

Sidwell may play dirtier than ever and leave Laura even more concerned about the fate of the city she so desperately wants to protect.

However, there’ll be at least one moment when Sidwell loses his focus briefly.

That’s because Ava is about to capture Sidwell’s attention and leave him quite intrigued.

Ava will prove to Sidwell that she’s smart, capable and maybe even willing to flirt with danger.

That should give Sidwell the green light to start pursuing Ava romantically in the coming episodes.

As for Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner), GH spoilers say she’ll face more conflict with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

Although Emma is Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) research assistant, Britt will make it clear that she won’t personally be working with Emma at all.

Emma will keep her eye on the prize as she schemes with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) on Friday’s show.

Charlotte and Emma may contemplate other ways to get their hands on Britt’s key fob if Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) isn’t able to pull it off.

Next, Josslyn will report back to Brennan with some crucial Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) updates.

Brennan will be pleased over the news that Lucas may be moving in Wyndemere since Sidwell lives under the same roof and is no doubt hiding things there.

Josslyn has been ordered to avoid Sidwell since he presumably knows she’s a WSB agent.

That could get tricky if Josslyn has to visit Lucas at the former Cassadine estate now.

Of course, Josslyn doesn’t realize Pascal (Marc Forget) is the new Wyndemere butler, so that’ll be something for her to uncover later.

In the meantime, Brennan will view this as a big break and a path to more intel.

It could be tough for Josslyn to score info without alerting Sidwell and his associates, but Brennan may push her to get it done.

On another note, Brennan will have to mull over the eerie phone call that was supposedly from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

All signs point to that being a manipulated voice and not the real Anna, but how long will it take Brennan to figure that out?

Finally, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will make what she hopes is her last trip to Steinmauer.

Once Carly poses as Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) lawyer again, she’ll inform him that he’s seemingly getting transferred to a prison closer to home.
