was trying to throw viewers off by playing up multiple potential tube candidates. However, it’s time to end the speculation based on EJ’s clue in the December 24 episode.

Following all the crypt chaos and injured Theo Carver’s (Tyler Joseph Andrews) hospitalization, EJ visited the lab to offer a sincere apology to the tube dweller.

EJ insisted he was so sorry for what happened, so it appears he was apologizing for Theo’s head injury and the fact that he hasn’t woken up yet.

Although EJ kept things cryptic, his apology pretty much seals the deal on Lexie Carver (previously played by Renée Jones) being in the tube.

That’s especially true since the sneak peek video released in November showed EJ unveiling the tube’s contents to Paulina Price (Jackeé Harry).

It looks Paulina’s in for quite a shock when she sees Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) former wife and Theo’s mom inside.

Abe has been sending up prayers and hoping Lexie will help provide a miracle from heaven, but she’s obviously alive and on the road to a lab resurrection.

It’s just a matter of time before Lexie officially rejoins the land of the living.

We should mention that an actress named Nikki Crawford posted from the Days studio earlier this year.

Based on her overall look and the timing of her upcoming debut, there’s a good chance she’s playing a Lexie recast.
