General Hospital has been giving fans a lot to talk about with Jason protecting Rocco and Danny losing his father all over again. Asher Antonyzyn delivered a heartbreaking performance

as he watched Jason being hauled off by the WSB, and now fans are singing his praises.

Give It Up for Danny Morgan
It was hard enough watching Danny (Antonyzyn) accept the fact that Jason (Steve Burton) was leaving town. Danny accepted the circumstances like a champ.

However, watching Danny break down as the WSB took Jason away in handcuffs was too much. The teen was desperate to save and help his father, but there was nothing he could do.

Antonyzyn showed that, despite Danny acting like an adult, he’s just a teen boy who wants to be with his dad. Danny’s still reeling from losing Sam (Kelly Monaco), and this new situation with Jason broke him. Antonyzyn wasn’t afraid to show it in his alter ego.

Fans Show Appreciation
GH fans have been flooding social media to let the young actor know that he was outstanding and also heartbreaking.

“Oh, Danny GH, excellent job, Asher! I actually shed tears watching this,” said a fan on X, resharing an image of Nathan (Ryan Paevey) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) holding a distraught Danny back as Jason is taken away.

Another fan used X to say, “Well, in an episode of great performances, Asher was the one that caused me to have tears running down my face. Poor Danny, losing his mom and now his dad too. But great job, Asher. I’m proud of you. GH.”

There’s no question that the adults in this storyline have been doing an outstanding job, but it is Finn Carr (Rocco) and Antonyzyn that literally keep stealing the show. One GH fan feels that the two teens gave “the best performances” and even “outperformed the adults.”

Honestly, we couldn’t agree more with that statement. The two teens are certainly carrying the story right now, and we can’t wait to see what happens when Danny finds out Jason is in jail because of Rocco. It’s going to be so good!
