The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, January 19, reveals that Eric Forrester (John McCook) will have to give Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang)

an answer while Electra Forrester’s (Laneya Grace) boyfriend reveal surprises RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti). For starters, Brooke will await Eric’s reason

for seeing Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom). Since Eric walked in on Katie and Brooke’s discussion, the latter is wondering what’s going on.

Brooke obviously looked rather suspicious when B&B left off. Although Katie just admitted she hired a new designer, Brooke’s mind may not go straight to Eric just yet.

Since Eric would rather tell Brooke and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) his big news when he’s ready, he might offer up a different reason for his presence.

Eric originally planned to help Katie by doing some consulting work on the launch, so he might test the waters and claim that’s what he’s doing now.

If Brooke totally flips out over that idea, it could give Eric pause about confessing that he’s actually agreed to be Katie’s lead designer.

Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) will enter the picture at some point and push Katie to spill the real story, but Katie may agree with Eric about holding back for now.

If Brooke leaves in a huff, Katie may wonder if Eric’s sure he wants to stir up all this hostility.

Eric will stand by his decision and make it clear that he’s going to teach Brooke as well as Ridge a valuable lesson in the respect department.

Over with RJ, he’ll get updates on something that’s both surprising and disappointing.

RJ will be bummed to find out that Electra has a boyfriend and will seem caught off guard when he learns it’s Will Spencer (Crew Morrow).

Since Ridge and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) have fought a lot over the years, B&B’s going to let that feud expand to a younger generation.

Fans can expect RJ and Will to become fierce foes, especially when Will inevitably realizes RJ has a crush on Electra.

That crush appears to be mutual based on the looks Electra’s been giving RJ, so trouble could be brewing in her romance with Will.

For now, Will’s going to be more worried about his job at Forrester Creations and whether it’s secure.

Look for Will to question Ridge about his place in the company and whether Katie’s fashion house drama will affect his role.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge may offer reassurance, but Will could still end up going to work at Spencer Publications or Logan somewhere down the line.
