General Hospital (GH) spoilers imply that Eva LaRue, who once played Marco Rios’ (Adrian Achondo) mom on the ABC soap opera, recently teased that her onscreen son may be exiting the canvas very soon.

The character’s portrayer, Adrian Anchondo, recently posted on Instagram. It was an “ode to Marco”, acknowledging that it had been one year since his GH alter ego hit storylines.

He uploaded a photo of Marco from a scene, and in the caption, Anchondo acknowledged he had filmed 75 episodes throughout the year, and all the lessons he had learned.

He talked about how entering the land of Port Charles has changed his life.

The caption goes on to tell fans how nervous Anchondo was on his first day, and how quickly he needed to prep his lines.

He also mentioned how the entire experience has been a roller coaster ride, but how he’s been in “great hands”.

Fellow General Hospital castmates hit the comments section, including Anchondo’s onscreen partner, Van Hansis (Lucas Jones), with three handclap emojis, a heart emoji, and a fire emoji.

In addition, Rory Gibson (Michael Corinthos) commented with handclap emojis, while Tanisha Harper (Jordan Ashford) wrote, “Yay!” and Nazneen Contractor (ADA Justine Turner) commented with, “Marco 4 EVA”.

Meanwhile, Carlo Rota, who plays Marco’s dad, the vile Jenz Sidwell wrote, “My sweet and lovely son”, and then Anchondo’s former GH cast mate, LaRue, placed this comment:

“Love you, Mijo! You’ve proven time and again you are capable of great things- On to the next great thing!”

LaRue’s comment suggests that Anchondo has wrapped things up on GH, with ‘on to the next great thing!’, and while it is shocking to see it, it’s not overly surprising.

After all, all arrows are pointing to a sad ending for Marco as the show continues to hint that disaster is on the horizon for Sidwell’s son.

Marco has gotten caught twice fiddling in the safe where Sidwell and WSB Head Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) store Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) medicine.

Marco agreed to help Lucas set Britt free by doing this and has insisted that even if he is caught, his father would protect him.

Still, fans can’t help but feel as if Marco’s days are numbered as General Hospital continues to foreshadow doom and gloom where Sidwell’s son is concerned, and Eva LaRue’s IG comment seems to confirm this.

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that neither the show nor Anchondo has confirmed Marco’s exit, but it ‘feels’ as the man’s demise for stealing those meds could be coming soon!
