OMG Shocking!! GH Spoilers: Trouble in Paradise? Brook Lynn and Chase’s Future Hangs in the Balance
General Hospital spoilers claim Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is getting dangerously close to falling for his ex-wife, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
He’s always been a sucker for helping a damsel in distress, and Willow has been that damsel more times than we can count. Of course, we can’t claim it’s a dynamic that
is strictly limited to this pair. Remember when Chase gave up his personal life and integrity to pretend to be Bailey Louise Jones’ (Miley and Riley Plonski) father while
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was protecting her from Peter August (Wes Ramsey)? Enough said. The guy loves to swoop in and make everything better. Unable to do that for Brook Lynn with her son, he’s looking outside his marriage for fulfillment now, and it just might come back to bite him.

Foreshadowing is Sweet Sorrow
Last week, Chase and Brook Lynn shared a moment at the Quartermaine mansion where they discussed how they can always speak freely to each other about anything — including Chase’s concern for his ex-wife.
Of course, Brook Lynn made sure to let him know Willow wasn’t his responsibility anymore, but he didn’t waste any time jumping into the deep end of her case, bullying Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and stopping short of accusing him of trying to kill Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and promising Willow he was going to look into her case off the clock.
Was Brook Lynn’s adoration and understanding of Chase’s care for Willow something more of foreshadowing that this couple is soon going to see problems in the ex-wifey department?
GH Spoilers Tease Chase is Fighting For Something
Right now, one might think Chase’s focus should be on his marriage to Brook Lynn.
It’s about two minutes old, and his wife’s decision to put the skids on their adoption plans until she can mend her relationship with Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) has put a damper on their new union, whether Chase is ready to admit that or not. Now, he’s looking to play hero to someone — anyone — who will let him.
So far, he’s shown up for his wife as a sterile guy who can’t give her a kid, and now he’s a guy she doesn’t want to explore having kids with right now.
Brook Lynn is largely going to have to deal with this Gio mess on her own, or alongside Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). So Chase is out in the cold wondering who might make him feel needed. Enter Willow.
The Fans React
Some fans are starting to worry that Brook Lynn and Chase are headed for a hiatus, given how invested he is in making sure Willow is okay while his marriage has hit the bricks a bit and lost its momentum.
Sure, they love each other, but their plans to start a family put a bit of a dent in any forward-moving progression. Now, their new but stagnant union is sitting on the back burner while Brook Lynn focuses on family drama all around her.
Could she be leaving Chase a bit neglected? Is she just so darned independent that Chase isn’t able to scratch that ‘I need to be needed’ itch? Willow has always done a bang-up job of that, and she couldn’t be more grateful to him right now for being in her corner.
But will Brook Lynn feel that way about it the more Chase draws a line in the sand and plants his feet firmly on the side that is against Michael? Can their marriage endure this?
