Martin Grey’s Need For Revenge

General Hospital spoilers note that the truth is finally out. After weeks of speculation, fans finally learned that Martin was the one who hired Ronnie to come to Port Charles and the one to alter Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) will.

Everyone, including Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), was shocked to learn that Monica left the Quartermaine mansion to Ronnie, when the thought was that she’d leave the home to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).

Ronnie was then coaxed to sell the home to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but it looks like the truth will come out before this happens.

During the Friday, October 31 episode, not only was Ronnie hesitant to sign over the home to Drew, but Tracy also found Monica’s “final” will and was about to confront the woman about it. Tracy had her sneaking suspicion that Ronnie was a grifter, and it turns out, she was right.

The Aftermath

In the longest election campaign to date, it seems as if Port Charles residents are headed to the polls to vote on their next mayor. While everyone can agree that Laura has done a stellar job, her association with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has her slipping in the polls.

Being friends with a mob boss is never a good look, and as he has refused to give up his warehouse for the town’s big Esplanade project, her support has taken a big downturn; however, she’s still in the lead for re-election.

How will poll numbers change when the truth about what her brother did comes out? Tracy will want to expose Martin, but not to hurt Laura, rather to hurt Martin.

Plus, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) might have to report on what her uncle did, as she was quick to tell Sonny recently that she couldn’t be biased in an article she wrote, hinting that Michael was the prime suspect in Drew’s shooting.

Based on that comment, Lulu may have to expose Martin, and Laura won’t stop her. But will she defend her brother’s actions? Laura may not, but she will likely do all she can to help him, as any sister would.

The scandal could essentially ruin her chance at another term as mayor, so could Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) swoop in and become the next mayor of Port Charles?
