1. Todd struggles after being cut off by Theo

Todd remains in a bad way after Theo blocked him from having any access to his bank account. Fortunately, there’s a welcome break from the difficult situation when Sarah and George treat him to beers and a takeaway.

Later in the week, Todd feels guilty over Summer being strapped for cash after she paid for the latest groceries. He asks George for an advance on his wages and immediately gives Summer half.

2. Theo’s nasty behaviour continues

When Theo returns home, he continues his financial control as he unfairly berates Todd for “wasting money”. He hands him £10 to buy something for tea, but warns him to get a receipt. Once Todd is out, Theo cruelly discards of Billy’s photo by throwing it away in a bin bag outside.

Shortly afterwards, Theo confronts Todd yet again – this time because he found the takeaway bag in the outside bin. He complains about the high calorie content in what Todd has been eating, so orders him to go out for a run.

3. Theo arouses more suspicion

As Todd struggles following his enforced run, James is concerned to see him limping down the street.

Back home, Todd notices that Billy’s photo is missing. Will Theo confess that he’s responsible?

4. Todd is teased by Jake

Theo seems highly amused with himself after giving Todd a love bite.

At the corner shop, Jake spots the bite and can’t resist teasing Todd. With Todd clearly mortified, Gary is forced to intervene. When Gary tips off Theo about what happened, will it lead to even more trouble at home?

5. Todd collapses

At the end of the week, Todd pushes himself further with another run.

George and Christina are horrified when an exhausted Todd collapses in front of them. Will he finally tell them what he’s been going through?

6. Shona follows Jodie – and gets a shock

Shona can’t shake the feeling that Jodie is still keeping big secrets from her. She decides to follow her to get some answers and is surprised to end up at a psychiatric hospital.

Jodie introduces their estranged father, who seems confused, and reveals how she was left to care for him after their mum fled from the family home. The revelations bring the sisters closer together than ever, as Shona reassures Jodie that she’s part of the Platt family now.

7. Jodie tempts Shona into a night out

Stressed out by dramas at home, Shona considers going back to the hospital to visit her dad. Jodie encourages Shona to let her hair down by heading off for a night out instead.

Jodie plies Shona with alcohol at the Bistro, then quietly summons David to help carry his wife home. Is Jodie trying to drive a wedge between the Platts?

8. David starts to get suspicious – as Jodie hides something new

Jodie tries to worm her way into David’s good books, thanking him for making her feel so welcome since she arrived. David isn’t won over, though, and tells Nick that there’s something strange about Jodie.

At the same time, Jodie looks through her trinket box and pulls out a secret locket – but what is its significance?

9. Jodie causes a convenient “accident”

Jodie’s attempts to charm David continue later in the week. This time, she kindly makes him a hot breakfast that he can take to work with him. David is uneasy over all the special attention, but reluctantly thanks Jodie.

Once she’s alone, Jodie smashes David and Shona’s wedding photo – but has she done it on purpose?

10. Daniel makes an alarming discovery

Daniel takes part in a restorative justice programme and meets up with Colin, the man who was framed for his attack at Christmas. However, once they get talking, Daniel quickly realises that he’s entirely innocent.

Back at The Rovers, Daniel is curious when he overhears Will’s family rebuking him for having a “terrible temper”. Remembering how Will was unhappy with him on Christmas Day, is Daniel about to put two and two together?

11. Lou returns

As Debbie settles into the tough reality of prison life, she’s assigned a buddy to look after her.

She’s immediately unhappy when she realises that the inmate in question is troublesome Lou Michaelis.

12. Adam shares some hopeful news

Adam tells Carl that there’s a ray of hope for Debbie, just a few days into her jail sentence.

As Debbie has recently suffered another Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA), Adam reveals that he could use this as a way to get her sentence reduced.

13. Carl plots an arson attack

Now in charge at the hotel, Ryan asks Carl to put up some QR code stickers. Carl refuses, but Ronnie intervenes and points out that he should be following orders.

Later, Ryan sacks Carl when he finds the stickers in the bin. Carl is livid and makes a shocking plan to set the hotel on fire. We’ve never known a QR code debate to escalate so quickly…

14. Bernie receives a warning over Mal

During a visit to the café, Ryan recognises Mal from the night that he rebuked him and Bernie for making too much noise at the Chariot Square Hotel. Bernie explains that Mal is temporarily working for Roy – and begs for Ryan to be discreet over what he saw.

Gemma, who’s also in on the secret, is horrified when she finds out that Mal is working so close to home. She advises Bernie to simply be honest with Dev, before he hears the truth from someone else.

15. Mal extends his stay

Mal is curious when he spots Dev and Bernie together at the café.

He soon makes the dubious announcement that Roy’s business needs a complete rewire. Is Mal playing games in a desperate bid to stay around for longer?

16. Sam realises Megan is playing games

Daniel warns Sam that his school essay is missing. Sam is livid to realise that Megan must have stolen it to fire a warning shot against him.

Later in the day, Sam seems curious when he overhears Daniel discussing how ADHD medication can be dangerously misused as a study aid.

17. Megan heaps more pressure on Sam

As Sam prepares for another busy day at school, he receives a message offering to sell him some of the medication.

When manipulative Megan approaches and makes out to Sam that she’s concerned about his work, will he be tempted down a dangerous path?

18. Megan tells more lies

Megan vents to Daniel about her issues with Sam – although she doesn’t tell the real story, of course.

The scheming teacher claims that Sam hates her for no reason – adding that she offered him help with his coursework but he threw it back in her face.

19. Lauren and Ollie enjoy their first date

Ollie finally plucks up the courage to ask Lauren out on a date.

As they sit down for a cosy meal together at the Bistro, is this the start of something special?

Later in the week, Ollie is already looking forward to spending more time with Lauren as he invites her to join him at a student party.

20. David and Shona receive an important update

David and Shona receive an update on baby Harper’s treatment at the hospital.

The couple are told that their daughter’s operation will take place on 4 March.

21. Carla plans a romantic surprise

Carla seeks out help from Betsy as she plots another romantic surprise for Lisa.

She needs Betsy to get Lisa to the Chariot Square Hotel the following day – will everything go according to plan?
