Fans of Emmerdale were left absolutely fuming after last night’s episode saw Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) tighten his grip on Butler’s Farm, and viewers are now begging

for justice for Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley). The latest drama saw Joe revel in delivering a crushing blow: Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) has sold her share of Butler’s Farm to the Tates.

For Cain, the news landed like a punch to the gut. Already carrying the enormous weight of a secret cancer diagnosis, Cain immediately went to confront Moira during a prison visit,

desperate to understand why she’d given up the farm that means so much to their family.

Joe’s behaviour clearly struck a nerve with viewers

Earlier in the week, Cain had finally revealed his health battle to Moira, but he was still determined not to back down from the Tates. In his mind, the fight for the farm wasn’t over.

With the farm causing constant stress and her situation behind bars weighing heavily, she admitted letting it go had actually brought a sense of relief. But Cain could barely hear it. All he could focus on was the fact that Joe and Kim Tate had effectively won.

Later, a furious Cain confronted Kim at Home Farm, struggling to believe she could sympathise with Moira’s decision. He made it clear that the war isn’t finished.

When his cancer battle is over, Cain vowed he’ll come back fighting and ‘rip everything they’ve got to shreds.

Cain is currently under enormous pressure. Moira is in prison, the farm has been slipping away, and he’s secretly battling cancer while trying to keep everything afloat.

Rather than opening up about the strain he’s under, Cain has been turning to risky tactics, including stealing cars to help cover the bills.

Previously, he managed to take Joe’s DeLorean without consequences after Graham Foster discovered his illness and quietly covered for him.

This time, however, Joe was one step ahead.

Knowing Cain might be tempted again, Joe deliberately bought a flashy high-end car and left it parked where Cain would spot it before heading to the pub.

Teaming up with Kammy, he grabbed Joe’s keys and drove the car away, convinced he’d pulled off another easy job.

But Joe had planned the entire thing.

Hidden tracking cameras captured the whole theft, leaving Cain completely cornered.

Realising he’d been set up, Cain snapped and punched Joe to the ground. As he raised his fist again, Dawn Taylor rushed in and pulled them apart.

She threatened to call the police, but Joe had other ideas.

Instead of pressing charges, he offered Cain a chilling deal: the police stay out of it… as long as Cain hands over the farm.

And it worked.

Joe’s scheme had paid off, with Moira selling her share to Kim and Butler’s Farm finally slipping out of the Dingles’ hands.

Fans demand payback

Unsurprisingly, viewers were absolutely raging over Joe’s smug victory, and many are convinced his downfall must be coming.

Taking to Metro’s Facebook page, fans didn’t hold back.

One viewer pleaded:
‘Come on Graham! Sort him out’

Another suggested Joe’s own family could be the one to bring him down:
‘Wait till Kim hears from Robert on how Joe put Moira in jail’

Others were convinced Kim herself could step in:
‘Hope Kim is the one to sort him out’

And many are certain karma is just around the corner:
‘Joe’s end is nigh…can’t wait to see it’

While one fan summed up the mood perfectly:
‘Can’t wait for Joe to get what he deserves’

And for some, there’s only one person they want to see deliver that justice:
‘Hope Cain gives him what he deserves’

With Cain trapped, Moira behind bars and Joe riding high, the Dingles might look defeated for now. But with fans piling up against Joe’s scheming behaviour, will he get his comeuppance?
