Newest Update!! New evidence comes to light in Emmerdale as Bear is left rattled

The spectres of crime boss Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) and her psychotic son Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) are still haunting the residents of Emmerdale, and DS Walsh (Amanda Ryan)

is determined to nail Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) for the death of the latter. While Bear did kill Ray, he did so after his mental health had been all but obliterated by him

and his heinous mother. Initially groomed, fed drugs and then incarcerated at a farm on which he was forced to work, Bear was swallowed by Celia’s human trafficking and slavery racket,

and the man that emerged from the remnants of the operation bore little resemblance to the man that went in.

Bear accidentally killed Ray to protect his son, Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt), and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle). Terrified that Bear would be sent to prison, imprisoned again so soon after his horrifying experience at the slave farm, Dylan convinced Paddy to move the body.

They tried to watch over Bear and ensure his silence, but a therapy session encouraged him to call the police and admit to the killing.

Paddy will do anything to protect his dad

Despite Bear’s protestations that nobody else was involved in the crime, DS Walsh has been like a dog with a bone in trying to prove Paddy’s involvement, her discover of the same rope used to on Ray’s body in the vet surgery further fuelling her fire.

Fraught Paddy, desperate to contain the situation, placed Bear in a mental health facility after he broke his bail conditions by assaulting Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) in the hospital, though DS Walsh warned him that he was simply prolonging the inevitable: Bear would eventually be released and brought straight in for questioning…

…which happens next week.

Bear finds himself in front of Walsh yet again

Finding himself dragged in front of fearsome Walsh once again, Bear tries his hardest to stonewall, with Zara proving to be quite a match for the determined DS.

At first, it seems that he’ll be successful, as between he and Zara, they manage to bat away many of Walsh’s questions. The interview is adjourned, though, when a colleague enters and furnishes Walsh with something that clearly intrigues her.

But what has Walsh managed to lay her hands on? And will it seal Bear’s fate?
