Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, January 20, reveal that Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) will make a wrong Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd)

move while Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) puts down a risky signature despite Melinda Trask’s (Tina Huang) alarm bells. First on Thursday’s DOOL episode, Chanel will decide to make contact with Sophia.

It sounds like Chanel will pay Sophia a visit at Bayview, but that could turn into a disaster – just like it did when Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) showed up.

Sophia doesn’t approve of Chanel and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) being adoptive parents to her bio son, Trey DiMera (Joseph Ihlenf and Jordan Perdue).

Chanel’s attempt to get Sophia on their side may only lead to bad news in the end.

Other Days spoilers say Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) will have a warning for Arianna “Ari” Horton (Marissa Reyes).

That could have something to do with Sophia or maybe Gabi will be concerned about Ari’s sorority plans with Holly instead.

Meanwhile, Johnny will have some positive updates for Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) since Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) urged him to go for it when it came to publishing Bonnie’s book.

Johnny doesn’t realize that Kate and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) are setting him up for a terrible fall.

There’s a good chance the agreement Johnny signed about not sharing proprietary info will come back to haunt him.

Since Johnny is taking a break from Titan to run DiMera Enterprises, he’s going to make things messy for himself after falling into Kate and Xander’s trap.

As for Melinda, she’ll have lingering concerns about the revised custody agreement.

If Chad ever pursues a relationship with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) can fight for the kids again based on what Chad added.

Melinda already tried to talk Chad out of getting that specific, but he stood by the promise he made to Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher).

Although Melinda will warn Chad once again before he signs and makes this official, Chad will insist it’s what he wants.

Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will also be on hand as Chad and Jennifer put their signatures down, so it’ll all be made official.

From there, Jennifer will embrace Chad and perhaps vow that she won’t make any more trouble unless something serious happens.
