Frantic!! General Hospital Nancy Lee Grahn Slams Diane Keaton Tributes – Why?
Nancy Lee Grahn, who plays the role of Alexis Davis on General Hospital, can be very outspoken on occasion. And this weekend, she slammed the many tributes
to Diane Keaton who passed away aged 79. Read on to find what the ABC star had to say about it.

Slamming The Tributes
Folks felt very sad when they heard that EMTs arrived at Diane’s home and found that she had passed away. Many tributes arrived because she was loved for her many roles, which included Kay Corleone in the Godfather, Theresa Dunn in Looking for Mr. Goodbar, comedies, and more.

Well, Nancy noticed something, and real-life Alexis Davis had something to say about it. Taking to Instagram on Sunday, she shared a card meme by @denised033 that said:
Every Diane Keaton tribute: “She never married.”
Me: She also won an Oscar, four Golden Globes, two Emmys, and redefined fashion, but ok. God forbid a woman just be brilliant and single. – @denised033

Actually, it was quite well-received by many ABC fans.
What Did Nancy Say About It?
While Nancy Lee Grahn often trolls various politicians and lawmakers, this time, she slammed the idea that a woman had to be married to be successful. The ABC star started off by saying:
As a woman who mercifully never married as I would have given up much of who I am if I had, I’d like to point to Diane Keaton’s self owned contribution to the world as a delightful, unique, renowned, brilliant artist and devoted mother.
Next, she summed it up by declaring that “Her remaining single may be in good part exactly why she was able to be all that. Just a thought.”
Fans React To The Post
In the comments section, some GH fans also recalled that despite not marrying, Diane Keaton was not only successful in her career, but in raising a family as well. One of them commented, “She adopted two kids when she was 50! She was the best!!!”
Meanwhile, others agreed that the constant reference to her never marrying felt relevant to them as well. One of them opined, “Her accomplishments are many and one of them is never having been married. Diane Keaton paved the way for all of us to believe a full life is not only possible being single, but that it may even be the best one for you to live.”
Additionally, they felt that like Nancy Lee Grahn, not tying the knot was simply “another achievement and point of pride in Diane Keaton’s amazing life.”
