BREAKING NEWS : Ronnie and Kevin unite to wreck Carl but he turns the tables in Corrie

It’s war in Weatherfield tonight, and this time, it’s personal. Ronnie Bailey and Kevin Webster join forces in Coronation Street as they attempt to finally bring Carl down.

But in true soap fashion, things don’t quite go to plan… and Carl may end up walking away with the upper hand. The drama explodes following yesterday’s revelations

about Debbie Webster. Ronnie confronts Carl in the café, refusing to believe his claim that Debbie is actually his mum, not his sister, as he’s believed his entire life.

But the truth soon comes out in devastating fashion.

Will Carl face the music for his actions as the truth is revealed?

Behind bars, Debbie is already struggling. With early-onset dementia beginning to take its toll, prison life is clearly worsening her condition. Things go from bad to worse when she comforts a distraught Paula after her partner ends their relationship. Lou walks in, tensions rise, and a poorly judged joke from Debbie spirals. Paula lashes out, leaving Debbie with a black eye, before Lou drags her away.

Shaken and upset, Debbie confides that prison is making her condition worse.

When Kevin and Ronnie visit her and see the injury for themselves, emotions boil over. Ronnie tells Debbie what Carl has said, that she’s his mum. Both men are stunned when she quietly confirms it’s true.

Debbies condition worsens as she endures her prison sentence

She explains everything: she took the blame for the crash on the night of her wedding to protect Carl. She allowed him to grow up believing she was his sister, keeping the secret all his life. Now she’s in prison, her health deteriorating, while Carl stays silent.

Kevin is devastated. Furious doesn’t even begin to cover it.

The pair confront Carl and, in a heated showdown, things turn violent. They beat him up and demand he comes clean, insisting he go to the police station and admit he was the one driving that night, not Debbie.

Ronnie and Kevin break into Carl’s hotel room and march him down to the station, determined to force the truth out into the open once and for all.

But Carl refuses to play ball.

Standing opposite Kit at the station, he denies everything and instead demands that Kevin and Ronnie be charged with assault.

Kit later informs Kevin and Ronnie that while they won’t be charged, his boss has no interest in reopening Debbie’s case. As far as the police are concerned, the matter is closed.

Carl is delighted. He knows they’re not being taken seriously, and he makes sure they know it too.

Carl seems to have a revenge plot of his own

It’s a crushing blow. Debbie remains in prison, her condition worsening, while the man truly responsible walks free.

But Kevin and Ronnie aren’t backing down.

Reeling from the injustice, they vow that this isn’t over. If the police won’t act, they’ll find another way. Whatever it takes, they’re determined to bring Carl down and clear Debbie’s name.

The problem? Carl doesn’t look like a man planning to disappear quietly.

In a final twist of the episode, he books a visit to see Debbie in prison, suggesting he’s got plans of his own. And given how easily he’s just turned the tables on Kevin and Ronnie, that’s a worrying development.

Kevin and Ronnie might think they’ve declared war, but Carl is already playing his next move.
