A month after the news broke that Days of Our Lives had let go Ashley Puzemis (Holly), Leo Howard (Tate), Raven Bowens (Chanel) and Carson Boatman (Johnny),

Puzemis is saying a fond farewell to Salem — and welcoming with open arms whatever comes next. “Been meaning to post,” she Instagrammed

over the weekend, “but that’s officially a wrap on Holly Jonas! 222 episodes later, an Emmy nomination, many tears shed and an entire cast who has become my family.”

A native of Detroit, Mich., Puzemis landed the role of Nicole’s daughter with the late Daniel Jonas in 2023. Pretty much ever since, she’s been front and center, whether Holly’s been crushing on older man Johnny, getting mixed up with ne’er-do-well Doug or navigating the bumpy road to true love with Tate. (Will Sophia ever be out of their lives? Sheesh!)

“Thank you for the memories, Days of Our Lives,” the actress concluded her post. “On to the next chapter.”

Boatman has also spoken out about his Days of Our Lives exit, telling the Daily Mail that he’s “incredibly grateful for the past five years… I have nothing but love and respect for everyone over there from top to bottom. The closing of this chapter is bittersweet for me as I’ve cherished every moment spent walking those halls and on the soundstages.

“A lot of tears and a lot of laughter have been spilled on all those sets by so many people, including myself,” he added. “I am genuinely so excited to see what the future holds for me, as well as the show.”
