Big Trouble!!! GH Spoilers: Trina and Kai at Odds Over Drew — One Makes a Shocking Rogue Move!
General Hospital Spoilers claim Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) are in uncharted waters as of late, but something tells us they’re going to be landing ashore soon in familiar territory.
The more that Trina asks Kai to keep his act together and continue working for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), the more Kai seems bothered by the gig and unable to do it.
As he inches closer to wanting to come clean in some regard, it’s going to leave Trina feeling worried sick — and not for herself, but her mother. Kai could be left unnerved
by Drew’s realization that the evidence he had been holding against Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has vanished from his safe — and he has no idea that Kai could explain it all away.
Instead, Kai may be forced to suck it up and let Drew carry on thinking Portia or Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) shot him. Will Kai and Trina find themselves battling it out over whether or not to tell the truth?
Trina Has Kept the Peace
Trina has been holding up her end of the bargain. She doesn’t want any evidence to trace back to her or Kai, obviously, but she’s pretty confident they could explain why Kai’s prints would be on a baseball bat in Drew’s home.
He frequents it often as his employee. That being said, Kai has seemed far more worried as of late that he may end up tethered to the investigation into who shot Drew.
Trina might seem more concerned about her parents’ well-being than Kai’s, and that could be part of what is weighing so heavily on him.
GH Spoilers Tease Kai is Starting to Panic
Kai has been nervous that he won’t be able to keep working for Drew without losing his cool.
He doesn’t seem to have much fight left in him to keep pretending every day when he loathes Drew so deeply.
Camouflaging that to maintain a cover for Trina’s parents is getting old, because Kai doesn’t have the same emotional attachment to Curtis and Portia that Trina does — obviously.
But Trina seems to sense the panic that is brewing under the surface for Kai, too, and it’s making her just as nervous that he won’t be able to hold it together. Is this the beginning of the end for this couple — again?
The Plot Thickens
With Trina poised to do whatever it takes to keep Drew’s blackmail scheme over Portia in the dark, Kai suggesting exposure of it to clear their names could have Trina flying off the deep end.
She could decide to take matters into her own hands and try to circumvent his attempts to finesse the situation with Drew.
In contrast, Kai might also start to feel like he has become a tool for Trina more so than a love interest or even a friend.
