Coronation Street spoilers for Mon, Feb 16: Deadly flashforward unveils five possible victims

We’ve reached out to the folks at Corrie regarding the leak, but ITV has offered no comment about it.

Speaking about the episode previously, the soap’s boss Kate Brooks said: “This episode is something that’s been in the making for a really long time.

“It gives us a destination for all the big stories we have on the table, they all come together to become something much bigger.

“We’ll take an audience on a journey to find out who that body is and what happened. What’s the backstory? How did they get to that place?”

Brooks also teased that she doesn’t think she’s ever “told a story that involves quite as many character groups as this” and that “there are so many twists and turns” that viewers will constantly be second-guessing themselves.

And before you go accusing Corrie of copying EastEnders, which did its own flashforward on New Year’s DayBrooks reiterated that the team have been working on this story for a while, and the key difference is that they’ll catch up to their flashforward in two months, rather than a year.
