General Hospital and daytime viewers alike are used to seeing crossovers but what would happen when one of soap’s most recognizable characters came face to face with an iconic horror figure? Fans of slasher films have likely seen one, if not all, of the Friday the 13th movies featuring Jason Voorhees but if you haven’t… The character, who was thought to have drowned due to counselor negligence at Camp Crystal Lake, returns — over and over again — to avenge his mother by murdering teenagers.

So, why are we telling you all this? Well, Steve Burton and his wife Michelle recently attended The Nostalgia Con in Dallas, Texas where the ABC soap star got to meet one of the actors who played the undead, masked serial killer. And as an added bonus, fans got to get a glimpse at a faceoff that could very well shatter Stone Cold.

“Jason vs. Jason,” Burton shared while posting an intense photo with one of the actors who played the role. “The dream matchup! Great to meet Kane Hodder [from] Friday the 13th… Who wins?”

And Burton’s proud wife shared some photos as well — and a glimpse of her “Jason” in action at the event.
