General Hospital nemeses Nina and Carly have never needed an excuse to lock horns; a day of the week that ends in “day” in generally more than enough for these two! But when word begins to spread that Carly has been schtupping Nina’s ex Valentin, the longtime rivals will have a whole new and very personal reason to do battle.

Nina’s Head Explodes in Three, Two…

At the moment — and probably only for the moment if you’ve seen Friday’s spoilers — Carly and Valentin are trysting in secret while the fugitive hides out at her place. That secret is destined to come out, though, let’s be real. They don’t even draw the blinds! When it does… whoo, boy!

Nina may have no intention of ever reuniting with Valentin, but “I’m sure she is not going to like the idea of him and Carly being together… ” portrayer Cynthia Watros tells Soap Opera Digest. “I can only imagine how much that is going to trigger Nina.”

Nina Vs. Carly, Round… We’ve Lost Count!

Carly might like to think that there’s nothing Nina could do, no revenge she could exact for her affair with Valentin. But, given Nina’s evolving relationship with Brennan — who just found out Carly’s cheating on him (read the recap) — Carly could be dead wrong.

In fact, with Nina’s malice and money, and Jack’s jealousy and power, they might be able to do a hell of a lot of damage as Valentin tries to clear his name and return to Port Charles as a free man!
