General Hospital’s Kate Mansi Hits the Big Screen In a War That Could Cost Two Families Everything
It’s been a long time coming and after an initial tease, over five years ago, General Hospital’s Kate Mansi (Kristina) will be heading to the big screen. Back in 2021, after leaving the role of Abigail on Days of Our Lives, the now ABC soap fave gave her followers a tease as to an upcoming project and now, get ready, because it’s about to be released.

Over the past weekend, Mansi attended the Napa Valley Streamfest premiere of Casa Grande, which also stars her castmate Josh Swickard’s (Chase) wife Lauren Swickard, who served as a writer as well, Lou Diamond Phillips, John Pyper-Ferguson, Madison Lawlor, Christina Moore, Javier Bolaños, Daniel Edward Mora, Loren Escandon, Bruce Davison, Shalim Ortiz and Charley Debenedetti. The film, which will hit theaters on Friday, May 1, follows a prodigal daughter, who rejoins her family at their farm during a very difficult period, as her ailing father faces both a terminal diagnosis and mounting pressure from competitors. During this time, not only do old wounds resurface but the family is forced to face what lies ahead.

Here’s a great shot of Mansi in character as Hunter Clarkman, posted by ESX Entrainment with the tease, “Some legacies are worth fighting for. Others are worth dying for… Casa Grande.”

We’re excited to see the actress step out of her daytime role and into this new drama feature!
