OMG Shocking!! Eva lashes out at Leanne over ‘false’ allegation in Coronation Street
Things get seriously tense in Coronation Street next week as Eva storms in and takes aim at Leanne, after claims about Will spiral into a full-blown family clash.
At the centre of it all is Sam, who’s clearly struggling and becoming increasingly convinced that Will is targeting him. But while Sam believes something isn’t right, not everyone is
on the same page, and that’s where the drama really kicks off. Friction is already brewing in the Kabin, where Leanne and Toyah clash over how best to handle Sam’s situation,
particularly when it comes to counselling. It’s clear they both want what’s best for him, but they’re not exactly seeing eye to eye. Meanwhile, Will attempts to smooth things over by approaching Sam in the bistro and offering an apology. Sam reluctantly accepts, even shaking his hand, but it’s obvious the trust just isn’t there. If anything, Sam seems more uneasy than reassured.
And that feeling only grows.
Later, Sam opens up to Hope, revealing he’s been reading about grooming cases and is starting to connect dots in his own mind. It’s a worrying insight into how anxious he’s become. When Will appears, Hope doesn’t hold back, making aimed comments about his older ‘girlfriend’.
Things escalate further when Sam directly confronts Will, accusing him of intimidation and making it clear he’s not going to be pushed around. But Will quickly flips the script, playing innocent, all while Liam is there to witness it.
Leanne loses her cool defending Will
Back at home, Will wastes no time in telling Eva and Maggie his side of the story, insisting Sam has made the whole thing up. And that’s all Eva needs to hear.
In true fiery fashion, Eva heads straight to the bistro and rounds on Nick, Toyah and Leanne. She’s furious, accusing them of allowing Sam to make ‘false’ allegations about Will and making it clear she’s not going to stand by while her family is dragged into it.
It’s a heated confrontation, and Leanne is firmly in the firing line. She’s trying to support Sam, but with Eva convinced the accusations are baseless, the situation quickly turns into a messy showdown.
When he spots Will and Megan together at the precinct, he panics and rushes to tell Nick, Toyah and Leanne. But things don’t add up when Eva later calls Will at the pub, and he insists he hasn’t left all morning. It leaves Sam looking unreliable, and understandably, he’s left upset and frustrated.
Back at the salon flat, it all becomes too much. Sam curls up on the sofa, clearly overwhelmed, as his thoughts begin to run away with him.
And it only gets more worrying.
In an attempt to ease tensions, Nick suggests to Ben that Will and Sam should spend some time together, maybe even grab a pizza and try to be friends. Ben agrees, but Sam’s discomfort is obvious.
As Sam leaves the corner shop, he thinks he sees Will again. This time, he hears his voice, calling him a loser and saying nobody cares if he lives or dies. Whether it’s real or not, it’s a deeply unsettling experience that shows just how much Sam is struggling.
