Very Shocking Update : Emmerdale killer Kim has another target in ITVX release as she plots consequences

The following article contains spoilers from the episode of Emmerdale dated March 23. It hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX. Kim Tate (Claire King)

has finally clocked onto the fact if she doesn’t take action, there’s a very high chance Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) is going to succeed with his plan to destroy her in Emmerdale

Graham has alluded to the fact he wants to knock Kim from her throne for ages, but it was only last week that she got a slight insight into what he’s up to.

When Graham broke into Kim’s safe, he found her will. He then handed it over to Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), who was furious to learn that Kim wants Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) to inherit Home Farm. He ranted to Graham about how he thinks the home is his birth-right and Graham just happily listened, glad that Joe was finally beginning to see Kim for the woman she really is.

Joe spent the next couple of days trying to plot revenge, but was caught out by Graham and Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley), who pushed him to stop and actually have an honest conversation with Kim instead.

Graham was thrilled to see Joe annoyed at Kim

During their chat, Joe didn’t confirm that Graham broke into the safe, but Kim was well aware it was him.

She decided to take action in today’s episode and hired Ross Barton (Michael Parr) as her new Head of Security at Home Farm. As someone who’s been tasked with sniffing out any danger, Ross did quite a bit of sitting around and enjoying cake, but maybe he’s just all about subtlety.

Dawn, Joe and Graham all warned Ross about snooping around Home Farm, and reckoned he wouldn’t be in his new role for long. Ross took this in his stride though, as he knew that Kim had his back.

Emmerdale: Kim's suspicions rise

Up until last week, Kim confidently assumed Joe was on her side, but now the situation with the will has happened, she’s realised he’s also a risk when it comes to who she can trust. Quickly hiring Ross was a sign that Kim knew she needed to do something to protect herself.

Ross made himself at home

Kim later warned Graham and told him that Ross shouldn’t be underestimated, and neither should she. The icon then reminded Graham that he knows what she’s capable of when she’s angry, and he has now made her a very angry woman.

It’s all been a bit will they/won’t they when it comes to the possibility of Graham and Kim going to war with each other, but scenes today have absolutely confirmed we have a fight on our hands.

So who will win?
