Newest Update!! General Hospital Wednesday, March 18 Recap: Cullum Catches Marco’s Lie, Baby Phoebe’s Future, James the Date Crasher

General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, March 18, reveals that Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) discovered Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) was being dishonest while plans

were made for Baby Phoebe. James West (Gary James Fuller) also made a mess of one couple’s date, so here’s how it all went down on Wednesday’s GH episode.

At Wyndemere, Cullum caught Marco rummaging through the safe and assumed he was looking for Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) medication, which Cullum was there to replenish with a new supply.

Since Cullum pointed out it wasn’t Marco’s turn to administer Britt’s dose, Marco acted like he was confused on the schedule.

Cullum called Pascal (Marc Forget) later and learned he’d spoken with Marco about the schedule earlier in the day, so he realized Marco lied.

At the Port Charles Grill, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) dragged Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) away from her table with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) under the guise of a work issue, but he really wanted to talk about her reconnection with Ric.

Although Lucas obviously had reservations, he knew he’d taken a risk on Marco and was willing to support Elizabeth taking a risk of her own.

Liz eventually told Ric she was interested in seeing where their relationship could go.

Ric decided he needed to be honest with Elizabeth about something, so he admitted he didn’t really go on a digital detox.

Before Ric could spill the truth about being held hostage in Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) basement, Liz shut him down and decided she didn’t need to know as long as it didn’t affect their romance now.

Once Marco met up with Lucas at the restaurant, he admitted he struck out trying to steal Britt’s medication dose and planned to try again.

Lucas feared for Marco’s safety since both Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Cullum had caught him in the safe, so they’d suspect he helped Britt after she vanished.

Marco wasn’t worried about Sidwell physically harming him, but he acknowledged that his father might cut him out of his life.

Marco also didn’t think Sidwell would let Cullum hurt him and kept the focus on the new life he wanted with Lucas.

At Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) house, she prepared a romantic table for her date with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), but their evening got off track when Nathan’s babysitting plan fell through.

Nathan showed up with James, who promptly spilled the Chardonnay, got Lulu’s phone soggy and distracted her so she burned the chicken.

It all worked out when Lulu suggested having pizza at a place that also had an arcade.

Later, Nathan was able to drop James off with Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), so he wound up carrying Lulu upstairs for some passion.

At Brown Dog Bar, Britt shocked Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) by admitting she was leaving town to avoid finishing the prototype Sidwell and Cullum wanted.

It was too dangerous to put that kind of power in Cullum and Sidwell’s hands.

Plus, Britt knew firsthand what happened to people once they were no longer of use to the project.

Brad was stunned once again to learn Lucas and Marco were helping her try to score a medication dose for reverse engineering.

Britt eventually admitted her split from Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was fake and that he’d be going into hiding with her.

Brad couldn’t support Britt’s relationship since he felt like Jason was only going to let her down again.

Britt tried to defend Jason, but Brad felt she was making a massive mistake.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) sold Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) on the idea of applying to be foster parents to Delilah Wilson’s (Lily Cardone) little girl, who they’d decided to call “Phoebe” since Baby Jane Doe wouldn’t do.

Meanwhile, Jason found Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) making a sandwich and wondered how he’d feel about going to live with Alexis.

Jason admitted he had to go out of town for a while and didn’t know for sure when he’d be back.

Danny sought more information, but Jason couldn’t get into the details.

All Jason could really tell Danny was that he had to help someone in trouble, so Danny said he should indeed help since Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) would want that.

Danny thought maybe he could come with Jason, but his dad shut down that plan since it was too risky.

In the end, Danny pushed Jason to promise he’d come back and got him to agree he’d come to his basketball game tomorrow.

General Hospital spoilers say Jason may not make it to that game due to some shocking news and sudden hurdles to his plans!
