Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Trey DiMera’s (Joseph Ihlenf and Jordan Perdue) future is in jeopardy due to Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd)

plot and the corner she’s backing Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) into. DOOL fans will recall how Sophia summoned Melinda to Bayview and revealed she’d been faking

her inability to speak for a while now. Sophia made it clear that Melinda needed to keep quiet about that and ultimately delivered another round of disturbing news.

Since Sophia has never approved of Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) adopting her baby, she expects Melinda to take Trey from them and score him some new parents.

Of course, Sophia figured out Chanel was pregnant thanks to her queasiness and mint popping during Chanel’s last visit.

Now that Chanel’s got a bun in the oven, Sophia is even more determined to get Trey away since she assumes Chanel and Johnny will just forget about him anyway.

Melinda obviously doesn’t agree with Sophia’s plan, especially since Sophia is counting her to do whatever’s necessary – even if it’s illegal.

Sophia is obsessed with yanking Trey out of Johnny and Chanel’s lives, so Days spoilers say she won’t budge on all this.

Since Sophia stayed silent about Melinda’s role in the fake adoption drama, Melinda is essentially being blackmailed now.

Sophia might make that blackmail threat a little clearer as this storyline moves along.

Days spoilers say Melinda may be forced to pitch in on Sophia’s scheme, which the show just made a lot easier through a revelation in the February 23 episode.

Johnny talked to Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) about finalizing Trey’s adoption and got Justin’s reassurance that it’d be no big deal.

Days writers just set up trouble by revealing that Trey’s adoption still hasn’t been finalized AND by making it seem like everything’s going to work out just fine.

Big issues are on the horizon instead, so those may come courtesy of Melinda now that Sophia is blackmailing her into Trey adoption sabotage!
