General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) may gloat to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about stealing his Congress seat,

so this power-hungry wife may prove she’s out of control. Willow was taken aback in GH’s February 17 episode when Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota)

suggested she should be the one to replace her incapacitated spouse. Drew can’t finish out his term in his current state, so Sidwell is rooting for Willow to slide into that congressional role.

Of course, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was busy pitching the same idea to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) across town.

Since the governor wants a recommendation for someone who can take Drew’s place, Laura is hoping to offer up Alexis’ name if she gets on board.

Unfortunately, there could be a problem since Laura clearly didn’t run this by Sidwell first.

Sidwell can blackmail Laura into doing pretty much anything he wants thanks to the Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) dirt he’s holding over her.

That’s why Sidwell may go to Laura soon and announce that he expects her to give Willow’s name to the governor instead.

Laura may have no choice but to do what Sidwell demands if he backs her into a corner.

As for Willow, she may decide Sidwell’s proposal is a good one.

After all, the whole point of Willow’s plot to drug Drew and fake his stroke was to take advantage of all his money, power and connections.

Willow wants to build a better life for herself as well as her children, so stealing Drew’s Congress seat could align with her goals.

After Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) pep talk, Willow may decide she’s all in and taunt Drew behind closed doors.

Since we know Willow will give Drew some huge news in the February 19 episode, that may be when she’ll gloat to him about hopefully becoming Congresswoman Cain!

Drew surely isn’t going to approve, but he may get some satisfaction out of knowing Willow’s going to be in over her head with Sidwell.

Willow has no clue what she’s getting herself into here, so Drew may take some comfort in assuming that trouble is brewing.
