Vicky Myers has been sent supportive messages as she celebrated her 50th birthday this week. The Coronation Street star is best known for playing the role of

Lisa Swain on the fictional street. The actress shared a message to social media to mark the special occasion. The TV star said: “Hello 50. Thank you for the messages,

cards, letters, edits, reels and the gifts. Oh my goodness, the gifts. What do you say when ‘thank you’ just doesn’t quite hit the mark? I’m so incredibly grateful.

You had me dumbstruck, which is no mean feat. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

She continued: “I’m so overwhelmed with gratitude and my heart is full, as is my front room. Thank you for making the day so very special. Here’s to another trip around the sun, it’s going to be the best yet!”

Co-stars and fans of Vicky sent messages to mark her birthday. Sally Carman, who plays Abi Webster on Coronation Street, said: “That sky! Full of every good thing just waiting for you to breathe it in and claim it. Love you bud.”

Sue Devaney, who plays Debbie Webster, said: “You are going to have the bestest of the best 50th year my darling girl! The best decade ever! And you are a stunner inside and out! Love you.”

Further comments included: “You truly deserve all the love Vicky. I know you’ll continue to do great things and have great times in this new chapter of life! Thank you for shining so bright – that light helps others find their way in the dark.”

Vicky reflected on an incredible 2025 for both her personal and professional life. She was at forefront of many of the soap’s biggest storylines in 2025 as DC Lisa Swain. One of the storylines has kept viewers on their toes is the ongoing relationship with Carla Connor.

When the onscreen couple of Lisa and Carla moved in together back in August 2025, it marked a huge moment for the show. They became the first same sex couple to live together on the street. They moved into No.6 Coronation Street following Yasmeen Nazir’s exit earlier last year.

Inside Soap Awards 2025 was a huge success for Vicky and Coronation Street overall. Jack P Shepherd’s David Platt won best comic performance. Vicky Myers claimed the awards for best actress and best partnership along with Alison King’s Carla Connor.
