BREAKING NEWS : General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Becomes the Next Hostage Victim at Wyndemere?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of February 9-13 suggest that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may become the next hostage victim at Wyndemere.
The daytime drama just dropped its weekly preview, and there’s a pivotal scene that takes place during the promo that indicates there’s trouble on the horizon for Carly.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is shown rushing down the steps of Carly’s mansion, as he’s heard saying that he’s headed to Wyndemere.
It’s almost like he’s just overheard a conversation that requires urgency, so will Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) inadvertently tell Carly something?
Maybe Valentin hears a discussion Brennan has in another room, while on the phone? Is this about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) or someone else?
Either way, Valentin’s voice in the promo seems desperate, which could only mean two things: either Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) is in trouble, or Anna needs saving.
Regardless, as Valentin declares his trip to Wyndemere, Carly interjects by telling him that he’s not going anywhere; rather, she’s heading to Spoon Island to see what’s going on.
As Carly states this, a scene is shown where she arrives at the eerie mansion. Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is at the door and looks caught off guard to see Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) ex-wife standing before, as Carly gives him a smile.
Carly has a fearless, can-do attitude when it comes to any dangerous situation, and always goes into these things way over her head.
Heading to Wyndemere to gather information from Sidwell is no exception. Without knowing exactly what kind of intel Carly is seeking, Sidwell isn’t someone that anyone can play mind games with.
If he even suspects that Carly knows a tiny detail of the research he has going on in the catacombs, he’ll go to extreme measures to silence her.
It also doesn’t help that Carly is Sonny’s ex-wife, and Sidwell knows that while they may not be married anymore, the blonde is very close to the mob boss – not to mention Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Could Carly become the next hostage victim that Sidwell throws into a prison cell in the tunnels?
A lot can happen in five days, and Sidwell could seize the opportunity of holding Carly hostage to use her as leverage against Sonny and possibly Jason, too.
If Sidwell catches wind of Jason and Dr. Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) secret rendezvous during the blizzard, he may use Carly against Jason.
This may also be a way for Sidwell to prove to Britt that Carly always comes first in Jason’s life, a thorn in the side of her romance with the henchman.
After all, the day after the storm, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) made a comment to Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) about Britt doing the ‘walk of shame’ back to her room at Bobbie’s.
Sidwell and Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) know how close Jason and Britt are, so all it takes is for Marco to tell Sidwell “at the right time,” and Carly could find herself in a pickle of a situation.
General Hospital spoilers suggest that Carly often jumps into dire situations without considering the repercussions, only for Jason and Sonny to bail her out – will this be another instance where this happens?
