General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) may forbid Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) romance.

Obrecht may be on Team Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) all the way and warn Nathan that he can’t betray his true love like this.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was supportive of Nathan following his heart, but Liesl may not feel the same way – at least when she finds out where it’s leading him!

Obrecht and Lulu obviously have some issues with each other, so Liesl may push Nathan to drop his twisted crush.

Once Obrecht gets updates, she may rant about this being a huge betrayal of Maxie.

Liesl might argue that her son deserves better than Lulu anyway and warn him to stop this nonsense.

Nathan is a grown man who can make decisions for himself, but Obrecht is an overbearing mother and the kind of person who speaks her mind.

In other words, Nathan can’t stop Liesl from spelling out all the reasons why a relationship with Lulu would be a terrible idea.

Of course, Obrecht could stir up more conflict with Lulu if she finds out about Liesl trying to pump the brakes.

Riling up Lulu could affect Obrecht’s attempt to bond with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), so she’ll have to be careful.

However, Liesl may argue that Lulu and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) are bound to end up back together sooner or later.

Obrecht might argue that Nathan should avoid getting his heart broken and just focus on Maxie once she awakens.

Maxie’s wake-up call is just around the corner since Kirsten Storms’ first GH episode back will air on February 12.

It won’t be long at all until Nathan’s love life gets even more complicated.

Liesl could cause complications of her own if she decides to weigh in and try to stop Nathan from pursuing Lulu.
