General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) may testify that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen)

shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), which means Willow’s Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) frame-up plot could backfire. Willow has resolved to

get her kids back, so she’s willing to do just about anything to make that happen. Although Willow is Drew’s real shooter, she has no problem with letting everyone believe it

was Michael who pulled the trigger instead. In fact, it looks like Willow’s going to plant some evidence that could lead to Michael’s arrest.

Thanks to the key Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) took from Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), Willow indeed has some proof she can plant.

ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) wants Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) to find something solid against Michael.

If this case is going to move forward, they need some evidence that firmly points to Michael being the shooter at Drew’s house.

Willow seems poised to plant that key and make it seem like Michael used it to get inside Drew’s place that night.

It just might be enough for Michael to officially get charged with Drew’s attempted murder.

Of course, GH fans know Trina would never stand by and let Michael go down for a crime he didn’t commit.

Trina cares too much about Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to let her beloved brother land in prison.

Kai would prefer to go the cops alone, but Trina has been adamant that they’re in this together.

If Willow’s frame-up scheme moves forward and lands Michael in hot water, Trina and Kai may have no choice but to come forward with a confession.

That could lead to Kai and Trina’s testimony about hearing Willow’s ringtone for Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) inside Drew’s house that night.

Cell phone records would back that up and point to Willow’s guilt.

In other words, Willow’s attempt to set Michael up could backfire spectacularly if Trina and Kai insist she’s to blame.

Although Willow can’t be prosecuted again due to double jeopardy, this could obviously affect her chances of getting custody of her children.
