Hot Shocking Update!! Home and Away’s biggest comeback in years – as Brax’s return plot is revealed

Home and Away fans are eagerly awaiting the return of fan favourite characters Darryl ‘Brax’ Braxton and Ricky Sharpewho will be back on our screens in

a series of historic episodes filmed in Western Australia. After sharing some teaser pictures of the pair, played by Stephen Peacocke and Bonnie Sveen,

on set last October the soap has now dropped a new teaser trailer, showing fans what they can expect from the episodes.

Opening with stunning landscape shots, and text reading “far away they’ve been hiding”, Brax and Ricky are shown with their now adolescent son living an idyllic life.

However we’re soon warned that their “perfect escape is about to end,” as an angry Ricky is heard telling Brax: “We’re your family now, this is where your loyalty should be.”

A press release for the episode (via The West Australian) reads: “A world away from his surfer days in Summer Bay, Brax is now working on a remote cattle station deep in the outback.

“Brax, Ricky and their son Casey have quietly built a whole new life in hiding, far-removed from the chaos they left behind.

“But the peaceful existence they’ve managed to maintain is about to come to an abrupt end, when a crisis from the Bay finds its way to Brax’s doorstep.

“While Ricky sees danger in jeopardising the trouble-free life they’ve worked so hard to protect, Brax finds himself torn between keeping his family safe and his loyalty to his River Boy brothers.”

Brax and Ricky were last seen in 2016 when they left Summer Bay and drove off into the sunset with their son Casey.

Speaking about his return to the soap last year, Peacocke said: “I’ll always be grateful to Home and Away for being the launchpad to my career, and I’ve got a sincere appreciation for the fans who’ve followed my work since.

“When the producers asked if I’d revisit Brax, it felt like a fun opportunity – and one I think the audience will really enjoy. Filming in spectacular outback Western Australia is the icing on the cake.”

There’s no word yet on when the special episodes will air, with the official word from the soap being that they’re “coming soon”.
