General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that we have to ask: Did Peter August (Wes Ramsey) just slip up? Is Peter the man behind the Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) charade that’s underway?

Ever since Nathan returned and claimed he had no memory of the last seven years, fans have been suspicious.

Nathan’s DNA and fingerprints are a match, but there have been plenty of weird clues to suggest he’s not who he claims to be.

The most recent hint came in GH’s January 29 episode, which is when Nathan surprised Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) by admitting he’d memorized the entire periodic table.

That obviously didn’t seem like a very Nathan-like thing for him to know.

Nathan said his dad drilled it into him when he was younger, which puzzled Lulu since she thought his father never paid much attention to him.

That led to Nathan explaining that his father pushed him toward science before losing interest in him when he couldn’t go beyond memorization.

That conversation was strange and felt like a revelation of something deeper.

Peter felt abandoned by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) since he rejected little Heinrik and sent him off to boarding school.

What if Peter is somehow alive and living in Nathan’s body – at least in the form of his memories?

Later, Nathan admitted to Lulu that he wanted nothing more than to be the man she saw him as.

The wording was odd and felt like a clear indicator that he wants to be Nathan, even though he isn’t really!

That brings us to Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) hint from back in December.

Brennan told Lulu that she needed to remember who Nathan’s father was and that he may like to go by the name West, but his real last name would always be Faison.

Everything Brennan said would certainly fit for Heinrik aka Peter!

Wes Ramsey recently returned to the role in Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) vision, but Peter may be alive in a completely different form.
