The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers hint that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may beg Eric Forrester (John McCook)

to trade fashion houses. Steffy may push for her grandpa’s return to Forrester Creations, but will Eric listen? Eric felt shut out of his own company

when Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and the others surprised him with a retirement party. It was a tough blow since Eric was ready to move forward with another collection at Forrester instead.

Of course, Ridge eventually felt guilty about how he handled the whole thing.

That led to Ridge insisting Eric should come back to the company if that’s what he really wanted to do.

However, Eric refused that offer and has now joined Katie Logan Spencer’s (Heather Tom) team as her lead designer.

Ridge and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) are sure to have an angry reaction to that news soon enough.

As for Steffy, she’ll inevitably react with some anger as well, but she may mostly blame Katie for taking advantage of the situation.

Steffy might act like Katie preyed on vulnerable Eric when he was struggling with this retirement transition.

B&B fans know that’s not what happened, but Steffy may hold Katie responsible for this betrayal anyway and try to undo it.

Steffy was previously concerned about Eric’s health if he kept working, but she may take another stance now that he’s all in at Logan.

Perhaps Steffy will understand that Eric still craves a sense of purpose and apologize for not realizing how important it was to him before.

Steffy may assure Eric that they still need him at Forrester Creations and admit she caught a glimpse of the designs he was going to show Ridge before the retirement party drama.

Maybe Steffy will urge Eric to see that he belongs with the Forresters and that there’s still a place for him in the family business.

Steffy won’t like the idea of Eric helping Katie launch Logan and having his designs shine at another fashion house entirely.

Although Steffy will no doubt play up the family angle and remind Eric of what he built at Forrester Creations with Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), it won’t be enough to change his mind.

Eric has committed to helping Katie as her lead designer on this first collection, so he won’t walk away from the promise he’s made her.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy may have to accept defeat when it comes to letting Eric work for the enemy.
