General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, January 14, reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will rage at Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) while Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)

faces a Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) disaster. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will also ask Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) out, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.

For starters, Sonny will go on a tirade in Alexis’ office and insist somebody will have to take the fall to make this go away.

Even if Alexis keeps her mouth shut about Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) guilt, Sonny may rip into her for how hard she went after Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) in court.

Michael could be the one under investigation if Willow gets acquitted, but that obviously won’t work for Sonny.

We’ll see Sonny grill Alexis about her strategy and worry about the outcome while they wait on the jury to deliberate.

On Spoon Island, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) will speak with someone about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), so it may be a doctor since she’s been complaining about not getting her phlebotomy treatments.

Whatever the case, Sidwell will talk to a man about Anna getting too close and forcing him to improvise.

It sounds like Sidwell will be explaining why Anna is in captivity, but she just got the upper hand on Pascal (Marc Forget) and pointed his gun at him.

However, that doesn’t mean the rest of Anna’s escape will go according to plan!

Even if Sidwell finds that she’s fled soon enough, he may have a chance to stop her from leaving the property.

Next, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will continue her discussion with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) now that she’s found him at Wyndemere, so that’ll bring a conversation about Sidwell.

“Well, he’s full of surprises, isn’t he?” Ava says in Wednesday’s preview video.

Valentin will have a near-miss in Wednesday’s episode, so he may push Ava to forget she saw him and flee for now.

However, we know Ava will eventually give Sidwell updates on a Spoon Island invader, so she may rat Valentin out anyway once he’s gone.

In Brennan’s hotel suite, Carly was digging around when Britt cornered Jack outside the door.

As Britt and Brennan entered, Carly ducked into the bathroom and put on a robe to cover up her true intentions.

This will give Carly a chance to eavesdrop, so she’ll get some valuable news regarding Brennan and Britt’s connection.

Although Britt doesn’t think she can supply the Sidwell lab data that Brennan wants, he may insist she’d better find a way.

After Britt leaves, Carly may pop up and catch Brennan by surprise.

It looks like Brennan will lash out at Carly and demand to know “what the hell” she’s doing in his room, so Carly will have to make up an excuse.

Carly may argue that she wanted to surprise Brennan with some sizzling bedroom time and was in the bathroom getting ready for him.

Even so, Brennan won’t like this ambush and may fret over just how much Carly overheard.

Later, it seems Carly will reconvene with Valentin and gripe about this being a disaster.

Valentin’s plans didn’t work out well for either one of them, so Carly will have growing concerns about what’s ahead.

At GH, Jason and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will trade info, so they may share their thoughts on Willow’s trial and wonder how it’ll all turn out.

Jason will also face Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) pressure to stay away from Britt, but he’ll clearly ignore it since he’ll ask Britt on a date and take her to the hatchet throwing range later this week.

General Hospital spoilers say Britt and Jason will have a wonderful time, but more complications are looming in their romance.
