Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of January 12-16 reveal that fans will see a forbidden kiss, a doomed romance, some fierce outbursts and some risky traps.

For starters, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will rip into Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) after he fires Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).

Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) may eventually blast Xander as well since he’s making this personal and doing Titan no favors.

If Xander stands by his decision, Days spoilers say Brady may find himself looking for another job.

Brady’s been wanting to explore other options anyway in recent months, so maybe Xander’s move could give him the nudge he needs.

Regardless, Sarah and Brady will deepen their romance while Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) do the same.

Unfortunately, the countdown will be on when it comes to Philip and Gabi’s inevitable blowup.

Since Gabi played a significant role in the Titan-DiMera merger unraveling, Philip will get updates and lash out at her down the road.

In the meantime, Days fans will see Gabi and Philip grow even closer in preparation for all the doom and gloom!

As for Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow), she’ll hold out hope that her plan involving Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) manuscript and Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) lack of CEO experience will pay off.

While Kate’s trap is set, Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) fury will intensify when it comes to EJ and the mistakes he’s made.

Since Kristen blames EJ for Rachel Black’s (Alice Halsey) Bayview drama, they’ll have another heated confrontation when he gets back to Salem.

EJ’s eventual homecoming should bring his own backlash for Gwen von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) since she let Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) go free without EJ’s knowledge.

Although Leo will work to convince Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) that he’s all in on their marriage, Dimitri won’t give up and will plant a kiss on Leo before long.

Meanwhile, Days spoilers say Sophia Choi will plot her next escape from Bayview, which Rachel could end up tagging along on.

Sophia has some scores to settle when it comes to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) and more.

Since Chanel is pregnant, the stress and whatever danger might be looming won’t be good for her or the baby.

Will Sophia also plan to take Trey DiMera (Joseph Ihlenf and Jordan Perdue) once she’s on the loose or find other ways to cause chaos?

As for Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), DOOL spoilers say she’d better be ready for a run-in with Sophia sooner or later.

Even if Sophia doesn’t move forward with all her schemes just yet, trouble is definitely brewing!

Sophia will continue to manipulate Rachel behind closed doors and set the stage for more messes.
