Days of Our Lives (DOOL) preview for the week of December 22-26 reveals Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) will get a surprise visitor while Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) delivers a special gift.

Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) will also reach a turning point, so let’s discuss what’s ahead on Days. DOOL’s weekly promo features more excitement in the crypt now

that Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier) has joined the other captives. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), Theo Carver (Tyler James Andrews) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk)

have already been trading questions with Peter, but EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) will quiz him too once they awaken.

 

It looks like there’ll be growing suspicions about Peter and whether he’s truly a hostage or the mastermind of this kidnapping operation.

Fortunately, this abduction nightmare is almost over, which means Chad will be able to go home to his kids.

This whole ordeal will rattle Thomas and lead to him changing his tune when it comes to his dad.

Chad will join the Horton tree-trimming activities and reconnect with Thomas at the party.

Thomas will lead everyone in singing Silent Night, so DOOL fans will see a nice turning point for him in the coming episodes.

At some point, Days spoilers say Chad will help Thomas and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) hang Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) ornament as they remember how much they all loved her.

Once Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) return to Salem, they’ll also join the holiday gathering and support Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) since she’ll be missing Doug Williams (Bill Hayes).

Next, Rachel will get a wonderful surprise when Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) comes to visit her.

It’ll be a bright spot for Rachel since she’s stuck at Bayview for Christmas this year.

Other Days spoilers say Xander will bring Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) a peace offering.

It looks like Xander may offer up a new portrait of Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) or maybe even one that features Victor and Maggie as a couple.

Whatever the case, Xander will pass along a present and wish Maggie a merry Christmas, so we’ll see if she warms up to him a bit.

As for Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Brady Black (Eric Martsollf), they’ll share a festive kiss in the town square.

That should give Xander an opportunity to witness the lip lock and leave him feeling blue about his single status.
