Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint that Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) funeral may follow the bone identification. Will the DiMera patriarch get a final goodbye?

There have been some hints to suggest that Stefano might still be alive, but Days writers may be trying to throw fans off the trail. Joseph Mascolo has been deceased for years,

so it’s best to honor his legacy and just let Stefano rest in peace. DOOL viewers know the DiMera captives found some unidentified bones in the crypt.

Based on the size of those bones, Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) feels confident this mystery person was a man.

Chad considered the possibility that the bones could belong to a DiMera enemy, but a family member seems most likely considering they were found in the family crypt.

The person who placed those bones there also remains a mystery, but let’s focus on the bones themselves for a moment.

Days spoilers say Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will make sure the bones get tested once the DiMera hostages are rescued.

From there, there’ll be a lab report and some updates to share with EJ at the DiMera mansion.

It may be revealed that the bones belong to Stefano, especially when we consider a few clues in the show’s extended sneak peek video.

In that promo for the coming weeks, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) can be seen crying while dressed in black.

Another part of the sneak peek video shows EJ, Theo, Chad and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) wearing dark clothing as well, so perhaps they’ll be dressed that way for Stefano’s funeral.

Days spoilers say EJ will declare that the house of DiMera will not fall.

That sounds like the kind of thing EJ might say after Stefano’s passing to assure his family that the legacy will live on.

A hand appears to put on Stefano’s ring toward the end of the sneak peek clip, so it could be EJ who does it as a bold statement.

It could be EJ’s way of signifying that he’s become the new Stefano in a way and will lead this family into the future.

Regardless, some mysterious bones need to be identified and the DiMeras seem to have a funeral coming up, so maybe Stefano has one last farewell ahead.
