General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that the real shooter may have gotten to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) before Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) hitman. Will another twist reveal that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner)

is NOT to blame for the two bullets Drew took? After Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) suggested this was a professional job, Curtis flashed back to arranging for Drew’s demise.

Curtis was willing to pay $1 million to Selina if she’d get someone to wipe Drew off the map. However, the show’s already established that multiple people were at Drew’s house that night.

What if another shooter arrived and pulled the trigger before Selina’s hitman could carry out fatal orders?

That would mean Curtis isn’t the reason for Drew’s almost deadly outcome.

It’s even possible that Curtis called off the hit sometime after he ordered it.

GH viewers don’t necessarily know the whole story yet; fans only know what Curtis recalled in the December 2 episode.

Another flashback could be brewing that points to Curtis having second thoughts and calling Selina up to cancel the hit.

Of course, Curtis might’ve feared the hit moved ahead anyway considering what happened to Drew.

Even so, Selina might’ve assured Curtis that if her hitman had done the job, Drew would truly be dead.

It’s kind of odd that Nathan thinks this is a professional hit considering they left Drew alive on the floor!

That could mean it’s not so professional after all since it wouldn’t have been hard to pump one more bullet and end Drew permanently.

The shooter might’ve gotten spooked and ran, but that wouldn’t be very professional either.

Something just doesn’t add up here, so there has to be more to the story.

Curtis’ Selina memories brought an exciting reveal, but it didn’t feel like the BIG reveal.

When the real shooter answer comes, GH will hopefully show a flashback of someone actually pulling the trigger on Drew at his house.

That’s the only way anyone’s going to know for sure who tried to kill Drew that night.
