Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint that some Dante Vitali mob wedding mayhem could be brewing. Does Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) new groom spell trouble?

In Days’ November 11 episode, Sami told EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) that she was engaged to Dante Vitali. That led to EJ’s negative reaction as he asked if Sami was out of her “bloody mind!”

EJ ranted about the Vitalis being mobsters, but Sami argued that Dante had no part in all that. According to Sami, Dante’s family stayed in Italy, so he doesn’t know anything about his cousins in Pennsylvania.

However, EJ was clearly skeptical, so maybe Days fans should be skeptical, too!

After all, DOOL writers could’ve just invented some nice guy who didn’t have a last name with mafia ties.

The fact that they chose to make Sami marry into the Vitali clan feels significant.

It might be the show’s way of setting up a future Days storyline or at least a wedding full of mob mayhem.

Sami and Dante haven’t set a date yet, but it’ll be interesting to see what happens once they do.

If Dante and Sami have an on-screen marriage ceremony down the road, that could turn into a potentially dangerous event.

Even if the nuptials happen off-screen instead, things could blow up in a big way and leave Sami in need of comfort in the aftermath.

Of course, it’s also possible Sami will genuinely become Mrs. Vitali, which could be a different kind of catastrophe.

If Sami’s wrong and Dante is just keeping her in the dark on his own mob ties, she may get in over her head.

Sami might find herself in too deep before she figures out the real level of danger here.

Whatever the case, Sami has revealed her husband-to-be as Dante Vitali, so there’s plenty of room for speculation now that we know who he’s linked to.

Is Dante Vitali bad news or a truly good man like Sami thinks he is?
