The couple first met at a party, with Godwin joking that Masters could not resist her ’70s dance moves.

This week, Australian fans saw Bree depart Summer Bay, as she followed her dreams and took a job with Doctors Without Borders.

She had a brief reconciliation with Remi Carter, as the former couple slept together one last time. However, she still decided that leaving was the best option for her.

“I could never forget you. You changed my life,” she told Remi. “Without you, I never would have made it to this point.”

Godwin also shared a video on Instagram, comparing Bree’s first and last scenes.

“All the love in the world for you @homeandaway,” she wrote. “Thank you for an incredible time in Summer Bay.”

She’s not the only person to leave the Australian soap this year. McGranger, who played Irene, and Thomson both departed, as did Kirsty Marillier (Rose) and Matt Evans (Theo).

However, fan favourites Stephen Peacocke and Bonnie Sveen are back as Brax and Ricky for some very special episodes that have been filming in Western Australia recently, and will air as part of the 2026 season.
