When Cash leaves for work, Eden sneaks into his house and begins rifling through his things, desperate for inspiration. At the farmhouse, they’re greeted by fairy lights, laughter, and an unexpected joint celebration. Drinks flow, and the atmosphere lightens. But when Remi notices Eden’s unease, she confides in him about the vows. “They’re dreadful,” she admits, unable to hide her embarrassment. “I don’t know how I can stand there and listen to them without bursting out laughing.” Remi defends Cash, reminding her that the words came from his heart — but Eden can’t shake the guilt of having read them in secret.
