Cameron Mathison Says Good-Bye

He lost his home in the Los Angeles fires earlier in the year and now it looks like he’s being forced to say goodbye to a very special family member.

That’s because it looks like he has to rehome his dog, Dobie. Talk about heartbreak! We can’t even imagine what Cameron must be feeling right now.

The actor took to his Instagram account to share a photo of him and his beloved dog and captioned it with, “It’s hard to say goodbye to Hunter, my foster Dobie, but I’m so proud of how far he’s come and excited for what’s next. We’re looking for the perfect home for him — if that might be you, drop a comment below.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for the internet to have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “Awe he seems to love you and you him. Praying a great family loves him! Our furbabies are always family!”

Another critic wrote, “I truly love that you’re a dog dad and doing your very best to help him.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I lost the last of 5 pups three weeks ago after 16 years of having her. Very heartbreaking. I’m currently pet free since 2009.”

“If you can’t find anyone to take care of Hunter since you can’t have pets in your rental, let me know. I can care for him temporarily while the search continues for his forever home.”
