Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) and EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) Wuthering Heights connection will be explained. The book seemingly ties

in with a Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) mystery, so let’s discuss some crucial clues. For starters, we should talk about a hint that Days dropped back in June.

Cat had a weird reaction to Sami’s framed photo at Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) townhouse, so Tate Black (Leo Howard) wondered if Cat knew her.

Cat ultimately guessed Sami must’ve just reminded her of someone since she couldn’t remember why Sami looked familiar.

However, it’s clear that Days was setting up a big reveal where Sami and Cat have indeed encountered each other before.

That brings us to a new clue from DOOL’s October 16 episode.

Foster (Miles Anderson) asked if Cat had ever read Wuthering Heights, so she seemed perplexed as she looked through the pages and admitted she didn’t think so.

Cat was quick to insist she’d like to read it and seemed to be having another strange reaction – like she was drawn to the story somehow.

Soon after, Cat ran into EJ and pointed him to the classics section, where he also picked up Wuthering Heights and had an odd look on his face.

All that made it seem like that book had some sort of significance for both Cat and EJ – even if neither one of them realizes why yet.

We know that Sami watched over injured EJ when he was at the clinic in Italy.

EJ had a long recovery process and was stuck in bed for quite some time, so we have no doubt that Sami must’ve read to him.

What if Cat wound up at that same clinic when she was recovering from her accident and surgeries?

Sami might’ve been drawn to Cat and read to her too, especially if she was in the bed next to EJ’s or something along those lines.

Even if EJ and Cat weren’t conscious when Sami read to them, they might’ve absorbed it and know it happened on some level.

With Sami’s return on the horizon, Days can further explore all this and finally explain how the puzzle fits together.

Between Cat recognizing Sami’s pic and seemingly having some sort of Wuthering Heights link to EJ, there must be an interesting story to tell!
