General Hospital spoilers report Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is going to blurt out the truth this week, and there will be a massive ripple effect that many in Port Charles could be affected by.

The weekly preview for GH shows Jason confessing to someone that Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) is working undercover as a WSB agent.  But who is he talking to, and why is he telling them?

If Jason has suddenly developed a guilty conscience that he can’t stuff down deep into his gut and ignore anymore, then we can reason he’s about to spill the beans to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

But she is not the only option on the table. In fact, several people in Jason’s orbit would be surprised to learn this information, and it might be helpful for him to field input from others before he tells Carly the truth. Will he break his promise to Joss though?

General Hospital Spoilers — Britt is a Nothingburger

It’s possible that the previews are throwing us fans for a loop by making it look like Jason is telling someone for the first time that Joss is a WSB agent, but that doesn’t necessarily have to be the case.

For instance, he could be opening up to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) about the difficulty of keeping this secret from Carly, wondering how he is supposed to tell her the truth.

If that’s the case, we’re merely missing the context of the rest of his statement, and the frame was cut to make it seem like he’s making a confession when he’s actually just talking about his feelings.

GH Spoilers Question If Sonny or Spinelli Get Looped In

Of course, the previews also say Jason is going to make a confession on Thursday, but that doesn’t mean the confession isn’t in the form of his feelings.

He must feel horribly guilty for keeping this from Carly, and she has already said that she can tell he is holding back on her — she just doesn’t know what it’s about, and we’re certain she can’t fathom he’s keeping a secret about her kid.

Jason may think he needs reinforcements, and pulling someone like Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) in to help him navigate this terrain.

How is he supposed to keep this secret from Carly forever? Would telling Sonny ensure that he doesn’t?

General Hospital Spoilers — Will Carly Ever Forgive Him?

It’s been a couple of weeks now since Jason came home from Croatia knowing what he knows and keeping it to himself. Every minute, Joss is in danger, but he knows she may also be in worse danger if her cover is blown.

It may have been hard for him to accept Joss’ role with the WSB, but he’s got to trust on some level that she has been trained to take care of herself.

At the same time, he is watching Carly fall deeper in love with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), and he probably feels obligated to put a stop to that — even though they agreed a while ago to stay out of each other’s love lives.

If he does tell Carly the truth this week, will she forgive him for sitting on it for weeks? Will she question his alliances, or resent him over the fact that Britt knew about Joss’ role all this time and she did not? Maybe she’ll be too preoccupied with skewering Jack to worry about Jason?
