General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) may retaliate by warning Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), he’ll send her to the WSB prison, Steinmauer,

after Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) spills the beans to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) about Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) being an agent. The GH preview for the week of October 13-17 shows Jason telling

a shocked and concerned Carly that her daughter is working for the WSB. For whatever reason, Jason will decide it’s time to push the button on giving his bestie a heads-up about Joss’s new career path.

Since Jason, Britt, and Joss have returned from the 5 Poppies Resort, Brennan has been concerned that Carly would find out Josslyn’s WSB status, but Joss was more worried about Britt ruining her cover than Jason.

After all, while Carly and Jason are close, she and Jason have a special bond as he is her Godfather.

In addition, Jason has been known to be discreet when it comes to others asking him to be so.

Josslyn believed that Jason would respect her wishes and keep his mom out of the loop. After all, Joss is an adult now.

Still, during the week of October 6-10, Brennan made a really stupid move in issuing Jason an ultimatum.

He smugly tapped into Carly’s phone, and tricked Jason into meeting him at the pier.

This is when Brennan warned Jason that if he were to spill about Joss, he’d send Britt to Steinmauer, as he and the WSB had enough evidence to put the good doctor away for a very long time.

Brennan’s threat was dumb on all levels, as Jason doesn’t like being warned about anything.

In fact, Jason would’ve likely kept quiet had Brennan not done so. Plus, luring him using Carly was a sneaky tactic that rubbed Jason the wrong way.

With that said, it seems odd that Jason would run to Carly and jeopardize Britt’s freedom.

Without knowing the reason why Jason decides to tell Carly, he must be confident in knowing that Britt won’t go to Steinmauer.

GH writers set up a situation where Jason had to choose between Carly and Britt, and this week’s preview implies that he’s chosen to put Carly’s needs before Britt’s.

Plus, Jason is sensitive to Britt’s feelings where Carly is concerned, and as Steinmauer is no joke, it’s hard to believe he’d fluff off Britt.

Still, this doesn’t mean that Brennan won’t strike back at Jason for telling Carly about Joss.

Unless Carly is sworn to secrecy, and so is Josslyn, Brennan is sure to learn that his gal pal is aware of his latest (and biggest lie).

If she tore a strip off him for lying about S. Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) being an agent, Carly would lose it on Brennan for soliciting Joss to the WSB.

Their romance is over, and Jason telling Carly will allow Brennan the opportunity to blackmail Britt for information on what she was working on at 5 Poppies.

He’ll threaten her with Steinmauer, but not before Brennan makes it clear that Jason was the one who threw her knowingly under the bus in the first place.

He’ll tell Britt about their so-called deal, which will have her pushing away Jason that much more.

General Hospital spoilers note that as the CarJack relationship is done, Brennan looks for revenge against Jason, so it’ll be interesting to see a new layer added to the rivalry between the WSB head and Stone Cold
